Dunwoody resident brings Napa wine experience to Dunwoody at July 26 event

Jackie Edmundson supplied Dunwoody resident Jackie Edmundson an avid wine lover has launched a new venture that she calls her personal passion project a one-night-only wine and art experience at the Donald-Bannister Farm The Aviary First Flight to be held Saturday July will bring together five wines from Napa s VGS Chateau Potelle including its -point Zinfandel paired with chef-designed bites that elevate the tasting journey according to a release from Edmundson We re also showcasing original artwork by local artist Linda Pozzobon with the full visual experience curated by Denise Jackson of Town Lifestyle Edmundson commented As someone who cares deeply about the future of Dunwoody and how we build connection within it this project has been my way of bringing something truly special to life in our city Special guests include the winemaker s daughter Clarisse Fourmeaux Kostrzewski a Brookhaven resident and Atlanta artist Tryce Marie making the evening not just a tasting but a multi-sensory celebration of storytelling creativity and district VSG founder Jean-Noel Fourmeaux according to its website is a -year veteran of the Napa Valley wine industry His winery is known only by those who search for wines that have dimension subtlety and definitive character Edmundson revealed the idea for a wine event in a historic Dunwoody location was born over a cup of coffee six months ago I ve been to similar events in Napa that were held in a historic venue and I just sought to bring that experience to Dunwoody she recounted Rough Draft The wines people will be tasting are not available here but people will be able to order directly from VGS There are two seatings at p m and p m Edmundson revealed tickets have been sold so far coming close to her goal of attendees for the inaugural event Edmundson announced she has been gratified by the interest of people both inside and outside the city with guests coming from Alpharetta and Buckhead and others flying in for the event Tickets for the indoor event which are per person can be purchased online The post Dunwoody resident brings Napa wine experience to Dunwoody at July event appeared first on Rough Draft Atlanta
